RESERVATION AND DEPOSITS
Overnight Tours: $100.00 deposit is required within 7 days
of your tour reservation to guarantee the booking.
Balance of payment is due 45 days before departure. Late reservation
for trips will not be guaranteed until full payment has
been received. Day Trips:
Your payment confirms you booking. Your seat can be released
anytime prior to your payment being received. Cash, cheque, visa or MasterCard
only. Please
make cheque payable to MAXEY TRAVEL. Some day trips may require an advance deposit.
REFUND POLICY
Customers requesting to cancel their reservation for a MAXEY
TRAVEL Day Trip will receive a credit for any refundable portion of the particular day trip upon receipt of doctor's medical certificate in our office.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Customers requesting to cancel their reservation for a MAXEY
TRAVEL Overnight Trip will be subject to the following charges: 61 or more days prior to departure = No Charge (FuII refund). 45 do 60 days prior to departure = 10% of the tour price (minimum of $100). 22 to 44 days prior to departure = 50%, of the tour price will be charged. 21 days or Less prior to departure = 100% Cancellation charge (No refund).
SEATING ON COACH
There are NO reserved seats on motorcoaches. In fairness to all on overnight tours, there will be a seat rotation
at the discretion of the MAXEY
TRAVEL Tour Director. This rule will definitely
apply to all onboard the motorcoach
DEPARTURE TIME
Departure
times, pick-up times and location, baggage tags and hotel lists
will be sent approximately 2 weeks prior to
departure or on receipt of final payment. In case of late bookings you
will be notified of departure times. Luggage: Limit 1 large suitcase
per person
to be carried under the bus and one small tote bag per person as hand
luggage. Large cases will be carried by bellman where service
is available. MAXEY
TRAVEL provides baggage tags.
TOUR DIRECTORS
Most
tours are accompanied by an experienced
director.
MOTORCOACH
Most tours
use our own CHERRY BUS LINES INC. motor coaches with washrooms,
reclining seats, air conditioning, and stereo
sound.
ADMISSIONS, SIDE TRIPS,
AND MEALS
MAXEY TRAVEL includes the cost of side trips, admissions,
guided tours, etc, unless otherwise noted
as optional. Meals are not included unless specified in the tour
inclusions. Unused tour features are not refundable.
DEVELOPMENTALLY AND
PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED PEOPLE
Must be accompanied by a companion
of their choice who is able to administer any
necessary assistance. Wheelchairs, etc. can be carried on bus.
ACCOMMODATION
All
hotels and motels used are rated first class. Although every
effort is made secure rooms with twin beds, it is not
always possible and some rooms at times may have one double bed for two
people. If you must have twin beds, please specify at the time
of booking and we
will be happy to accommodate you. A list of accommodation will be made
to
you, with other information, approximately 2 weeks before the tour departure.
IDENTIFICATION
Passenger must ensure they have proper identification for any
international trip. Canadian citizens should carry a valid Canadian passport,
a birth
certificate, or a certificate of Canadian citizenship plus one
form of picture I.D. Please
make sure you travel with a valid Ontario health card at all times.
Canadian
Landed Immigrants travelling to the USA must carry a valid passport
with a valid
non-immigrant visa. A valid Canadian PRC (Permanent Resident Card)
is needed to return to Canada and it must be in the person's possession
before boarding the coach.. Entry may be refused if a valid Canadian
PR card cannot
be produced.
SMOKING / ALCOHOL
Smoking and the consumption of alcohol is strictly
prohibited on the motorcoach. We make frequent stops giving
passengers the opportunity to smoke.
PRICES
Are accurate
at the time of printing and are based on current exchange rates,
fuel prices, etc. We reserve the right to
alter these prices at any time prior to departure.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Be sure to inquire about our travel
insurance. Medical, trip cancellation, and trip interruption,
baggage, and personal effects, and individual accident insurance are available
separately,
or as a package through MAXEY TRAVEL. For details concerning
available coverage,
benefits, and exclusions contact your nearest office.
RESPONSIBILITY
MAXEY TRAVEL reserves the right to cancel or alter a tour at its discretion should it become necessary. All payments will be refunded, should it be cancelled. MAXEY TRAVEL acts only as the organizer of these tours, and cannot maintain direct control over the travel service suppliers. MAXEY TRAVEL does not assume responsibility for claims, losses, damage costs or expenses arising out of personal injury or death; delay, inconvenience, loss of equipment distress, etc. resulting from wrongful negligent acts, omission of travel suppliers, sickness, theft weather, or any cause beyond our control, your failure to obtain necessary documentation or your failure to arrive at departure point on time; damage to, or loss of property.
MAXEY TRAVEL reserves the right to reject any person
as a member of the tour at any time before or during the tour if the
company deems his/her conduct to be detrimental to or incompatible with interest,
harmony, comfort, or welfare of the tour. There shall be no further obligation,
responsibility or liability on the part of MAXEY TRAVEL. The tour operator
reserves the right to make any changes before or during the tour for
the
comfort and enjoyment of all passengers. Acceptance of the ticket for
tour or any deposit given to the tour organizer will represent an acceptance
by
the passenger of all the aforementioned conditions.
